Do you collect blood from homebound patients?
We review home collection requests for patients who have difficulty traveling. Acceptance depends on the patient's needs, location and the requirements of the ordered collection.
Can you coordinate with a home care aide?
With the appropriate patient or representative involvement, we can discuss scheduling and access with an identified caregiver. Medical orders and laboratory instructions must still be reviewed.
Does a home visit mean laboratory testing is included?
A mobile collection visit and laboratory testing are separate parts of the process. We review the service arrangements before booking; the receiving laboratory handles testing and its own charges or coverage questions.
