Care that comes to you

Local collection from a Queens-based team

Leaving home for a blood draw may require transportation, a companion and time away from work or other care responsibilities. A mobile appointment can help patients and families arrange specimen collection at home, at the office or at another agreed-upon location when the request can be accommodated.

We discuss the patient's needs before the visit. Let us know about mobility limitations, caregiver availability, building access and any special needs so we can review whether the setting is suitable for the requested collection.

Your questions, answered

Queens mobile blood draw questions

Do you offer at-home blood draws in Queens?

Yes. Lite Touch is based in Queens and reviews home, office and facility collection requests across the borough. Acceptance depends on the patient's needs, location and the requirements of the ordered collection.

Which Queens neighborhoods do you serve?

We receive inquiries from neighborhoods across Queens, including Astoria, Long Island City, Flushing, Forest Hills, Jamaica and Bayside. Contact us with your ZIP code so we can review the request.

What should I have ready for my visit?

Have your provider's order or kit instructions and any preparation instructions, such as fasting, available. We review these details with you before confirming the visit.

Does a home visit mean laboratory testing is included?

A mobile collection visit and laboratory testing are separate parts of the process. We review the service arrangements before booking; the receiving laboratory handles testing and its own charges or coverage questions.

What does a mobile visit cost?

Services are subject to a non-refundable $100 home visit fee, in addition to the cost of services. We review fees with you before confirming your visit.
