Mobile Specimen Collection for Clinical Research
Bring an approved collection visit closer to the participant
Travel and scheduling demands can complicate research participation. Lite Touch supports study teams exploring mobile specimen collection at a participant’s home or another approved location.
We review each assignment against the protocol, visit instructions, required qualifications, and available resources before confirming services.
Plan collection around the study visit
An agreed assignment may include protocol-directed blood collection, visits within specified windows, recurring appointments, specimen identification and labeling, collection documentation, and communication with the study coordinator.
Study-specific training, processing, equipment, packaging, and transport requirements must be confirmed in advance. Service availability depends on the assignment’s actual requirements.
Establish responsibilities with the study team
We clarify participant contact procedures, visit scheduling, necessary materials, documentation, and specimen destination. The study team retains responsibility for participant eligibility, informed consent, and clinical oversight.
Lite Touch performs the collection activities expressly included in the agreement. If a visit cannot proceed as planned, we follow the agreed communication instructions.
Experience in clinical and community settings
Founder Christibell Alphonso is an NHA nationally certified phlebotomist with eight years of outpatient oncology experience at Memorial Sloan Kettering and Department of Health field tuberculosis exposure-testing experience.
Lite Touch is fully insured and holds MBE/WMBE and Port Authority of New York and New Jersey business certifications. Required study qualifications and training are reviewed separately for each project.
Request a project discussion
We review assignments in New York City, Long Island, the Hamptons, and the Tri-State area. Select travel assignments may be considered.
Information to provide for a study inquiry
Share the proposed visit locations, schedule, required specimens, protocol instructions, training requirements and documentation expectations. Include the study coordinator’s contact information and the receiving laboratory arrangements. This lets us assess the assignment before committing to visits.
